Flames from the Rim Fire consume trees on August 25, 2013 near Groveland, California.
Containment of the Rim Fire is up to 20 percent, but it has already charred about 161,000 acres -- 21,000 of those inside Yosemite. As the fire climbs to higher elevations, crews can do battle from above. But sparks carried by the wind, or from one treetop to another, is making it nearly impossible for firefighters to take control. The White House has promised to help pay for the cost of fighting the fire. Reporter: Grace Rubenstein
